Terms and Conditions

• All bookings require a non refundable security deposit to confirm your appointment. A screenshot is required and your booking will not be secure without it. 
• Please contact JM Makeup Artistry prior to making your deposit as the booking may be taken within the time that you decide to make the payment. 
• Group bookings are subject to $100 deposit, and single bookings are subject to $30. This covers the cost of holding your requested date and all admin fees. Your deposit will also be deducted from the final amount. 
• If you wish to secure you date you must pay the deposit within 24 hours of the quote being sent. Your date will not be held upon this time. 
• All payments are to be made to the selected bank account via direct deposit as seen on the invoice. Please use your full name as the reference.
• Final payment is due 2 weeks prior your date. 

• Trials are held at our home studio on the Gold Coast. Please be aware to avoid booking a weekend as we are generally booked with bridal parties, however we will try our best to accommodate with you. 
• Trials include one look only, so come with a clear idea in mind with what you’re after. Trials are highly recommended, as they provide me with clarity for what type of style you’re after. 
• Trials are the same price as a bridal makeup application, they are not discounted or free.
• Full payment must be paid for prior to arriving to your trial. 
• Trials can go up to 80 minutes if required to leave you with peace of mind on the day. 

• JM Makeup Artistry clients will be used on social media platforms, unless stated otherwise by the client.

• A surcharge of 10% is occurred on Sunday bookings and Public Holidays.
• Early starts before 6am require a $40 fee. 

• Please note, travel will incur a fee of governments standards for wear and tear. This will be discussed upon your booking.
• Any and all hotel, street parking and toll fees must be paid for by the client prior to the date in additional with the travel fee.
• If there is a particular schedule, please advise at your earliest discretion so this can be accounted for when allocating your booking.
• JM Makeup Artistry will always aim to arrive earlier for mobile bookings, however, if traffic and unforeseen circumstances are to arise, you will be notified.

• Makeup application can take up to 45-60 minutes depending on the exact look you are after. On wedding days, there is 60 minutes allocated per person to allow room for any slight changes or unaccounted for setbacks.
• If your booking is at the studio, please allow room for traffic and/or parking as bookings are made back to back and your time will be accounted for. 

• In relation to COVID19 – if a lockdown occurs and you are unable to get married due to government restrictions your booking is transferrable to a new date pending availability. If JM Makeup Artistry is not available for your new date, your non refundable deposit is forfeited however your remaining balance will be refunded to you. If you decide to postpone due to border closures and JM Makeup Artistry is not available for your new date, your deposit will also be forfeited. This covers all admin fees and the multiple bookings we may turn away to secure your original wedding date. 
• Change of dates can be requested, and we are more than happy to transfer your booking to a new date upon availability. However if JM Makeup Artistry is not available at your requested new date, your deposit will be forfeited. 
• Additional fees and surcharges may apply to your new date and time i.e if you book on a Sunday or a Public Holiday, according to our terms and conditions stated. 
• If you wish to cancel your booking altogether, there is a minimum of one month (30 days) notice. If you cancel within this time, you will be reimbursed, minus the non refundable booking fee. If you cancel your booking with less than 30 days notice, you will not receive any reimbursement.

• Please advise of any allergies, intolerances, latex (used in the glue to apply the lashes) and sensitive skin prior to your event/wedding date. If possible, please list any known products in the quote section to cause issues so this can be avoided on the day.
• JM Makeup Artistry is not responsible for product any breakages and spills by the client. Any product that is broken in any way by the client, is your responibility and will be accounted for reimbursement.
